Ben is a retired chemistry professor who wants to live in comfort and tranquility: eating canned beans, reading newspapers and drinking coffee. To get his attention, we need to incite him until he finally removes the newspaper. Then we can tell him something, handcuff him, tickle him and even talk to him on his cell phone. But as soon as Ben gets to the lab, he’ll be charmed like a puppy.
